Were these offered with Mag handles cos the standard handles on the FBM don't fit my hands too well.

Am i right in understanding that the difference between the FFBM and the CGFBM is that the FFBM is thicker and doesn't have the corrugated bevels?

Thanks

The sage were only offered with standard scales. And yes the difference between the FFBM and the CGFBM is the Saber Grind vs the Corrugated Bevels. If you really want to get technical the contours of the spine is also slightly different. The FFBM spine resembles the FBMLE.

Note that the standard scales on the FFBM feel a lot better (to me) than the standard scales on the CGFBM due to the wider blade steel.

I, too, like the mags on a CGFBM, but I was really pleased with the standards on my Sage FFBM.
The extra thickness of the blade made the standard handles feel really close to mags to me.

My Sage FFBM was standard grips. The mags on the green linen FFBM fit me great but the standard felt like the grip was slipping forward in my hand. 'Course, others complain that the mag feels like a golf ball in their hand.

Different strokes for different folks.
