Hi am going to Recieve my first spyderco dyad soon. I bought a used one almost mint condition. This is the c44 version with the micarta handles. I wanted the small version but they are hard to find? My question is what is better the large or small, and how many of you like yours?

I've lost 3 of the micarta C39s. I stopped carrying one after the third escaped. I'm still carrying my first C44. It's got a lot of cutting power in a very light package. Great knife.

Be careful you don't overstretch the pocketclip. The screws have a tendency to crack the micarta which is why Spyderco switched to other handle materials.

I currently edc a large Chris reeve Sebenza I bought this knife to replace it. The knife should be almost mint. Being these knives are getting harder to find should I use it?

Did you buy it to use, or did you buy it to look at? The one I've been carrying was new in the box when I got it, and it has done a lot of cutting since.

I used one commercial lobstering for over a year. I retired it when it started to become "collectible." It held up fine and was nice to have a plain and serrated blade in one package. I prefer serrated knives now and contrary to popular opinion, they can do almost everything a plain edged blade can, and then some...

I was thinking about it and bought a frn version sprint run and will keep the micarta as a collectors item. In time this knife will be really hard to find. My Sebenza is getting hard to Find as well, I will keep both in good condition. I am sure the frn will be a good edc and handle all the needs. Now I just need a small micarta to match the big one. Thanks for your input guys
