Question on the Blur

Thumb stud only. The thumb stud is cut on an angle and has striations. Arguably one of the best thumb stud designs around. It is perfectly angled to make opening a breeze. Hope that helps.

Agreed, best thumb studs around. Not just saying that cause I like kershaw :)

The angle really helps get your thumb in there, as opposed to sliding off on more traditional thumb studs

Yup, another vote for "best thumb stud around". My blur's are the easiest opening thumb stud knives.

Word of the wise - If you receive yours and it feels stiff, just loosen the main bolt that attaches to the blade a bit. When I first got my s30v blur, I thought something was wrong with it because it did not open smoothly. Just needed loosened a bit. In fact, a torx set is a must for all of these knives.

Blurs are some of my favorite offerings from Kershaw.

The thumbstuds work good but are a bitch to the back of your hand if you reach into the carry pocket
