I have a question regarding the new CQC-14. In the knife description is reads a "conventional V grind", is this still going to be similiar to the chisel grind found on most of the other Emerson's? Thx in advance.

I imagine it'll be like the Commander and the CQC-10, where the blade is ground symetrically from the spine to the primary bevel, which is then chisel-ground (as opposed to a true chisel grind, where one whole side of the blade is flat, or a true V-grind, where the entire profile is symmetrical).

so i would say "no" its not a conventional "V" grind say like a spyderco delica.

i think its more a CG than a "V" grind and it sure confuses folks.
