Interesting knife, but something in the Tech Specs on the Arclite from the Camillus website has me puzzled.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Length, Overall: 7.875"
Blade Length: 3.125"
Blade Material: 420HC
Handle Length: 3.5"
Handle Material: 420HC
Weight: 3.28 oz

Given that 3.125 + 3.500 = 6.625 where does the extra 1.250" to give it and Overall Length of 7.875 come from? Am I missing something here?

Edited to add: Does anyone here have one of these, and if so, what is the actual overall length?

Good question! I have one of these (combo edge) and I will measure it up for you.

Regards, Neophyte.

According to agrussell website it's 6 3/4" total length, obviously a topo error on the camillus site. I'll find out since I just ordered a D2 Arclite, I don't have much use for 420.

Thanks fudo, mete, and neophyte - pretty much figured that the OAL shown on the Camillus site was a typo, just wanted to be sure.

Hear what you're saying about the D2 vs 420 mete, but the main reason I'm looking at this knife is as a cheap blade, with a shape I like, for a first attempt at making my own handle.
