QUESTION ON THE KERSHAW AVALANCE

I recently checked out the Kershae Avalanche and noticed that on some, the model # 1570 and CPM 440v were etched on the right side of the blade, but on some, only the model # 1570 appeared. They were all equally priced, but does anyone know if Kershaw has changed the steel on the Avalanche?
 
I remember when Kershaw first introduced the Avalanche, they didn't have any 420 for the liners so they used titanium for the initial run of 1000 units. You might have stumbled on to one of each. Go back to your store with a magnet and check out the magnetism of the liners of each knife.
