I recieved my Sable IV today and it is an awesome cutter as well as extremely strong. A little like a Sebbie on steroids. I shaved up a quick pile of tender after splitting a good size cedar log with the Sable. The rounded spine makes it comfortable to push it through. It went through easier than my machete did.
Can anyone tell me about the inside of the handle. It appears that there could be an insert sort of like a plug deep in the handle. Is this so or is it machining down in there?
The point on this thing is so incredibly sharp that I sort of drew blood on my thumb just testing it.
