Question on the Vic Soldier's emblem

Both the Vic Soldier and Wenger Standard models have unique shield emblem on the handles. I wonder if it is the official Swiss Army sign, or what?

The Victorinox Soldier and the Wenger Standard Issue (same as the soldier but with a bail) have a Swiss shield instead of each companies' emblem.

Looks like there exist different versions of swiss coat of arms. According to Wikipedia it is standardized by the federal resolution and looks like this:

which is slightly different than Soldier's sign:

So, do they use unnoficial emblems?
