Question on the ZT 0550

I'am a Spyderco guy but I really like the ZT 0550, What is the difference between the generation 1 & 2 I purchased one on an auction web site but I don't know which generation it is? Thanks for the help.

The Gen 2 has the Clip like the Ones on the ZT0560 and the frame lock looks a little different

I like this version much better.. But next time buy from KershawGuy (unless you got it from SteelHead15 as that is him).. he probably could have gotten you one for a better deal 1st or 2nd gen.. and he Ships stupid fast.

The 0550 didn't appeal to me looks wise. For some reason I bought one anyway. It quickly became my favorite out of the 3 ZTs I've had, with the 0303 second and the 0560 coming in third.

Good choice. I've been gravitating towards smaller EDC blades for a while, but the 0550 just seemed like a must-have. It's surprisingly light for a knife of its size, and it actually carries pretty well. It is a bit too bulky in my front pocket alongside my keys & wallet, so I've been carrying in my back pocket.

Your pic pushed me over the edge. Gonna get one of these from kershawguy tomorrow. Just wish the ti was black, but whatever.

I carry most of my knives IWB. The 551 carries easily that way as does the 560. Good concealment and good access.
