I have a complete book of 1948-1963 Franklin Half Dollars and I want to trade for a Large Starbenza or StarTac. I wasn't sure if this should go in the Trade:Knives forum, Trade: Gadgets & Gear, or if this is classified as a sale since coinage is involved.

Would I be able to post in the Trade: Knives & Tools forum with a title like "WWT 36 Franklin Half Dollars for Lg Starbenza or StarTac"?

Thanks for your input!

Tricky question is tricky.

Since the face value is not numismatic value I would say that even though it IS money... it's collectible money which means it's more than you simply paying face value and since I don't know those coins maybe worth $5 to $? each and in mint unhandled condition are an investment. Making a trade should be easy but I haven't read anything about that in the rules.

I think it would be best to post in Gadgets and gear that you have coins for trade for a starbenza or startac

Thanks for the input. I'm still unsure what to do as coins don't really apply to gadget or gear. Since I'll be specifically asking for a knife in return/trade, lines get blurred.

These are circulated coins so the value as collectables is diminished but they still hold value with their silver content. It is a complete book of years/mints though.

Post in the Trade: Gadgets & Gear (Individual) forum with a title like "WWT 36 Franklin Half Dollars for Lg Starbenza or StarTac".

You have "gear" to trade so post it there, and someone interested in that gear will check to see what he can give you for it.

Alright, thanks for the clarification. I didn't classify the coins as gear but I suppose they are more gear than knives/tools :P Thanks again!
