Question on ZT 350

Picked up my first Zero Tolerance knife this week off the Exchange, a ZT 350 PE. The blade is marked Ser. 1002. Is that SERIAL # 1002? If so are all ZT products serialized? Is mine simply the 1002 knife made or #2 in a run? Just curious.

By the way I love the knife. My first impression was that it's smaller than I expected. My second impression was that it fits my hand to a tee and is really just about perfect, size wise. Not as big as my Tyrade, which it bears a strong resemblance to but actually a little bit handier. Glad I got her. :thumbup:

My 0300's serial number is XXXX, so I can't help you.

So it's a running tally of production within each model?

I'm not positive, but I believe the ones that don't pass QC don't get serialized, so it may not be the exact number in production sequence...

I think that's the case.
The knife I referred to above is a factory blem, and has no serial number.

Aren't all Tyrades 1850? It's part of the model #.

They could be, but do you really think they'd skip #1850 in the series just because it's the same as the model number?
