What is your. Take on gec acrylic handles I am just a bit worried as far as feel heft and it is generally

Also wondering if anyone who owned a whittler and a stockman could let me know how much thicker the third backspring makes it.(pics would be awesome)
Thanks for any help, I tried to search but I couldnt find out much.

I have a GEC Copper Snake Acrylic handle on the ez open Barlow and I found it to be really, really nice. I also have the GEC Patriot acrylic, which I think is just great.

If they make a knife that I want with the blue denim acrylic, I would get that in a
heartbeat.

GEC acrylic handles are excellent, sturdy, feel great and look fantastic. I think you would really like it.

I have a Sheepsfoot Barlow in Northern Lights
Ihe acylic is translucent and catches the light nicely
A modern day celiloid?

I like it

I don't have any of their acrylic but was most amused by one on a Cuban Stockman called Dead Skunk...nice black white and red whirls though. A durable material without the worries associated with celluloid.

the third back-spring does make it a tad thicker..sorry no pics!....but I love the feel despite the slight extra weight.

A great little tank.

I have one of their Northfield #54 Whittllers with Sambar Stag handles and it is a very comfortable handfull of a knife. I can't provide pictures but the springs appear to be close to 1/8" each. The three springs on mine are machined to a level of quality that makes them appear to be one solid block of steel. The finest slip joint I have ever owned.

This is not my photo, (but it is my knife) it came from the website where I bought the knife. I really like the acrylic it is very comfortable in the hand and also seems to be durable. Good luck
