I wonder if someone can point me in the direction of an article or similar resource detailing the different shapes and styles of blades, preferably with images or illustrations. Since I'm so new to this interest, I'm often confused about the blade descriptions, from wharncliff to sheepsfoot to drop point to tanto and so on and so on.

Is anybody aware of a detailed description of the blade types out there? I did read through AG Russell's Knife encyclopedia, which was very informative, just lacking in images. Detailed illustrations would be *very* helpful.

Thanks.

this help?

Just poppped it up on my site, have a *few* knife pics in here...

had 1570 spyderco ones, and I just got a disc this last week with another 2540 knife pics(only another 1000 spyderco).

best bet that if you want a pic I could possibly find one in my files.
