Question RE: HR Blade Shape

I have a Howling Rat that seems to have an oddly shaped blade. The back curves smoothly to about 1/2" from the point where is becomes flat and takes a sharp downward angle to the point. It looks like sort of a "Roman nose". This is the only HR that I have seen in person and it's hard to see the detail in the pictures on the 'net. Is the point supposed to look like this?

Without seeing it, I can't tell if you have a "variant" or not. However have you checked the pics at www.swampshack.com There are a lot of good one's there and maybe you can see the HR better.
