Question re: leaving feedback

I am trying to leave positive feedback for a recent transaction. Although I am leaving feedback for the seller / starter of the thread, this window keeps popping up:

Did you post in the sales thread? The system won't let you leave feedback based on a sale thread without having a post in it.

No problem! If the thread is still open, you should be able to post in it and then leave feedback.

You can also leave a positive thread about your transaction with the seller right here in in the FEEDBACK subforum. You don't have to have a post in the original sales thread to do that.
