No dealers in my area carry it so I don't have the opportunity to handle one. How exactly does the double action feature work?
Can the knife be opened either manually or as an auto? If opened manually does it operate like the Speed Safe Kershaws assisted
opening? I guess the bottom line is can it pass for a manual opener in those instances where opening an auto would scare the snot out of the public?
Thanks,
Rich

The answers to your questions are:
1. Figuring out how to open it auto is half the fun.
2. Yes. It can be opened both ways.
3. NO. It opens manually like any other folder.
4. Yes. Unless somebody is a knife nut and knows what to look for, sheeple will have no idea that you have an auto.
They are big knives but alot of fun.

I just ordered a CF DA for $210. It's way cool! The DA is tricky enough that I don't think any non-knife knut could figure it out, but once you know how to do it it's real easy.

Hey Jason, if you don't mind sharing, where did you find one at $210?</font>

Actually the AL bolster models are more expensive because MT went up on its prices shortly before the change to AL. The model he bought is one of the black bolster AL models that was recently sold at a fire sale price from one of MTs distributers.
