Hello.

Well I got offered this blade and I'm seriously considering it.. However, I've only known his new work of s35vn steel.

I was wondering if some if you who know the differences of performance between the two can chime in? How is the steel? How desirable are these 2000 classic sebbies? Would I be 'dumb' to not pick this up?

Thank you!

Many think that BG-42 is the best steel they were made in, but that may be part myth and part reality. That is a reasonable find(depending on price). The Classic MM was only made in BG-42 for a short time before they switched to S30V.

I would snap it up in a heart, especially if it's a good price. If you don't want it I'll buy it from him. Let me know.
