Question regarding the Buck Knives For Sale forum

Hi, I just read the rules, and I want to be sure to follow them. I'm a non-paying, but registered user. I know I'm not allowed to post for sale or trade ads, but I think the rules implied that I'm able to post a want ad. Is this correct? ... and if the wanted item is a Buck knife, do I just post the want ad in the Buck For Sale section?

Sorry, haven't been on for a while, and just want to make sure.

I am not an expert on the rules, but I think "want ads" are supposed to go somewhere else on the general forum. The Buck for Sale subform is for sales only. Someone who actually knows will be along to straighten things out.

I'm not quite sure why you have to list a wanted Buck knife away from the Buck forum, but you do.
I had a Buck wanted thread moved to this area a year or so ago;

Not sure if a registered user can put a knife wanted in their signature, but that's how I do it now and actually found one I was looking for.

Thanks folks. I just posted in the want ad section. I got some good deals with the Buck folks on here a few yrs back, but didn't remember exactly how the ad section worked. I'd rather get something older from someone who doesn't need it anymore, than to buy brand new.
