Question regarding warranty

Hello CRK fans, im sorry if this has been discussed but i couldnt find it in a quick search. If i was to buy a used sebenza, would the warranty still cover me the same as it would if i were to buy one new (assuming it came with box, birthcard and warranty card)? Im asking this because I dont like the Idaho made stamp so my only option is to buy used. This knife will be my edc and see years of use as im still young so i would like the comfort of the famous chris reeve warranty.

As long as it hasn't been modified in the aftermarket, yes. As long as you live, or CRK is still around

I was looking at some custom maker's site a while back - don't remember which. Some of his knives were warranted "for my [the maker's] lifetime." Then, at some point, he must have had second thoughts, because other knives were warranted only "for as long as I'm making knives." I guess he doesn't want to be trying to deal with things after he moves to the assisted living community???

I've sent in a bunch of second-hand Sebenzas for minor warranty work and sharpening, they never asked me for a receipt or anything.
