i was taking apart my kershaw dimension today out of curiosity. In the process of doing so i bent the plastic washer or spacer (whatever the hell it is)for the bronze washer im not really sure of the purpose or their material.Nylon? I just wanted to know where i can buy replacement washers that will fit the knife because without the two white washers there's blade play and with them in theres an ugly sound

I heard Kershaw sends out free parts, give them a call, that might work! All the best on fixing your Kershaw!

he only problem is the model i have is made china in china and id have to send my knife out since thay only send parts for their usa made knives. i also doubt its covered under the warranty since i bent them while taking it apart. i just want to buy some cheap ass washers this should be easier than it is

Kershaw has awesome customer service. Fill out the online form off the page listed above but ask for the pivot set. Washers are included in that set. I've gotten washers several times. They'll take care of you.

Oh and by the way I ordered parts for my Brawler before and they sent them out, no problem. That knife is made in China.

the dimension isnt in production anymore i dont think but hopefully they can just send some washers

Worth a shot man otherwise take the current washer down to hardware store and tell them you want one the same size. I forget if you said it was nylon or bronze but you'll likely have to get steel washer and possibly polish it down a little so it's really smooth. But if it's a Chinese one its not high end anyway. I fixed a low end one with a hardware store washer once it wasn't griptilian smooth but it was okay for work knife

you could try McMaster carr they sell nylon waqshers but you would need to know the thickness and id, od as well. Kershaw dosent support their china made knives so you are pretty much on your own. maybe try a flea mkt find Kershaw and see if you can sub washers. I have seen some Chinese kershaws on the local flea mkts for a few bucks around here.

good news i woke up this morning to find a third bronze washer in my room. it turns out the knife uses 3 bronze washers with a white spacer between two of them interesting design. ive taken it apart cleaned it oiled it and fitted it back together the right way and now its more smooth and strong than its ever been. Now i just need to contact kershaw to say everythings good

I haven't found the statement that Kershaw doesn't support their China-made knives to be true (in my experience anyway). I had a Select Fire that the detent ball fell out of, and they wound up offering either credit for the full MSRP or replacement. The original knife was a serrated WalMart version, and they replaced it with the non-serrated version, which cost more, but at no extra charge.
