My friend lives in CA who has two small Sebenza he want to send them back to CRK for refinishing.
He told me he can't get any reply from CRK for two weeks. There must have something wrong because we all know the service from CRK.
Anyway is there has anything we have to pay our attention before we ship the knives out? Thanks.

Other than the refurbishing fee and the shipping charge I don't think you have to be concerned. There is an order sheet on their website @ http://www.chrisreeve.com/orderform.gif that you can print and send with the knives.

I'm surprised you haven't heard from them. I know at one point I had an incorrect email address that wasn't going through.

I just sent my large Sebenza back to have a small swedge put on the blade and have the spacer and thumb stud re-anodized bronze and made sure to insure the package. I would check the e-mail address to make sure it's correct. I always get a prompt reply from Bridget on every e-mail I send. Maybe it was just an off day. I wouldn't worry.

I have always gotten a timely reply from Chris Reeve Knives whenever I contacted them via email, telephone or snail mail.

Hi guys, I have sent my first sebenza in for
sharpening several times and have never had a
problem with CRK not getting back to me. Then
I bought a used one which had a slight wobble
problem, sent it in with a note of explanation and they got back within a week!
My parents don't reply that fast and we live in the same town...
