Second half of the year is on,, and I have work to do.. I am one of the luckiest men in the world to do what I do.. I thank everyone who supports me,, I am not oblivious to the fact some people don't like waiting for a Knife.. And some people don't like my Lead Time policy, or no deposits, and no Bullshit,, but, those of you out there that get Me... I appreciate you,, and you make it possible to live this dream,, thanks again,, J

I think your doing great.
Knives are original,well made,and SHARP.
Your getting better all the time
as is evident in your latest knives.

Full time knife maker is really putting you on top.
I also enjoy your spirit and attitude.
As is apparent from your forum,Im not the only one who thinks this.
From what Ive seen, your a hell of a guy who
puts out a hell of a product.
Sure, some designs dont appeal to me,
but I dont like liverwurst either.
Some designs are for very specific purposes, like
those underhanded reverse upsidedown anti "stick me up will ya!" knives
Whatever you put out is high quality.
Please dont let your success force you into
"production mode" which we all have seen elsewhere,
can cause quality to diminish...

Jeremy,
Keep up the great work and congrats on doing what you love!

Well u know me. I loves me lots of machine work on my Hortons. The Grooves, Notches, Sawbacks, Band Breakers, etc. Can't get enough of them,,,:D

Dislike is such a strong word, really depends on the model. I havn't held a camp 2 yet, but I like fatter handles on bigger knives. Thats just me though, not a deal breaker.

Maybe just knocking off all the sharp edges on the smaller knives. You know what I mean, not talkin about the Platinum Edge. For instance, the cuts inside the neckers have a fairly sharp edge. I'm sure theres no danger there, but you asked. Other than that, there nothing to dislike. :)

Don't let anyone screw with your MoJo mang. I think some of the coolest sh** you come up with, is when your just building your ideas between orders.

Oh, and congrats on livin the Dream maine,,,:thumbup:

What I like -

Platinum edge
Machining work (although I was a plain blade / plain spine dude at frist ;) )
Ability to get various thickness - skinny to obnoxiously fat :)
Different Steels - A2 / D2 / S7

Dislike

I think I would have to agree with Kurt that the inside of the neckers had some sharp point but when I send my necker for a spa - those mysteriously vanished :)

J you're one hell of a cool dude - that all I got to say...

What Pauli said.

I love the knives but I'm not sure about the tattoos, drinking, and the guns. We can talk more about it over a beer when I'm down there for Fighting Pistol.:D

Your knives have character and they beg to be used.

Like everyone else here, love your work J!

I like the wider belly you put on that last chopper

Would like to see some ASYM edges in the future, and maybe a little more length and girth on some of the handles.

Oh yea, some red carbon slabs would be nice too for my, I mean wifey's, new kitchen knife ;)

What I don't like? (space reserved for possible future comment) ;)

I just appreciate getting in on the front end and seeing the great progress you are making in the short amount of time you have been doing this. Thanks for keeping it real for yourself and us!

We appreciate you - now get busy! :D

I love every one of the Horton Knives I own. Sharpness, handles, different touches and details they have. I love them FAT.

I don’t care abut the wait; I just want the product to be a Horton, with all that includes.

The only thing I don’t like about Horton’s……let me think and I’ll get back to you when I find something. If I didn’t like something you will probably already know.

You didn't ask but I will say it any way: you’re a cool guy, no one in the knife industry have answer my emails so fast as you have and no one produce a product like yours. No one in the knife industry has treated me as a friend instead of a customer.

I became member of the Bladeforums just because of the Platinum Club and your forum. Lots of good things going on in this place.

I just have to ask something from you: keep it that way man, stay with us on Earth, and don’t let any idiot change your mind. Keep bringing us those no-nonsense blades. Keep living your dream.

I hope I have the opportunity to meet you in person as well as all the Platinum Playerzzz.

Keep it real.

I don't own a Horton yet (it's ordered) but I like the respect Jeremy gives his customers. For example the communication is unbelievable and I like the fact he didn't put the orders on the back burner to make a huge pile of blades for Blade.

I've only had a necker but I liked pretty much everything about it. Well, It didn't chop worth a damn :D but the future Camp Blood should take care of that. ;)

well having just got my first, the first thing I noticed was fit/finish and how comfortable it felt in hand. Excellent workmanship, really sharp non-chisseled edge (sorry, had to throw that in) :D. I got to talk to J on the phone and he is a down to earth cool guy. Wait was long but well worth it
Dislikes:
Bud Light and Chisel grinds ;)
cheers fellas
