question: What is the W&C forum?

I received this message in my inbox after I used a little symbol made available to me on this here forum and Im not sure why?

"Please do not insult other members. You can make your point without insults. Also... the jerkit smiley is only to be used in the W&C forum. It is not to be used in the general forums."

I dont understand?

I love the jerkit smiley symbol. It is one of my favorites. Why would the moderators allow this symbol if it was insulting? In addition why is asking someone if they are a communist insulting? There are alot of communists in the USA and they are very proud of it. After all 52% of Americans voted for one in the last Presidential election

The W&C Forum is one of several that are not visible to you as a registered member. To see that forum, you must be a paid member.

And please keep politics in the political forum... where you can't post being a registered member.

Hmmmm... maybe it's time for you to cough up for a paid membership so you can use your favorite emoticon, see the forums you can't, and talk politics.

I can't help sorry! I have no idea what the W&C forum is either.

I don't know why they have the jerkit smiliey either. The last person who used it here got banned because he used it.... go figure.

Using a smilie that your forum provides is an infraction???.... you don't find that a little strange.

If you didn't want people to use it you wouldn't make it available.
 
Whine and Cheese forum is available to all users.

It is the sub forum there that is only available to paid members.

Some of the sub forums here have specific rules. You can see them as stickys at the top of the individual forums. The jerkit is frowned upon in the PG rated areas.
 
I have know idea what icon you all are even talking about, can one of you paid members show it.
 
Some of the questions we get here never fail to amaze me. But I guess it's better to ask than be ignorant.

Whine and Cheese is a subforum of "Community." It's a dangerous place and filled with bad, bad people. If you go there, I'd recommend carrying a gun.

The Cove is only open to paying members, and it's ten times worse.

And lay off of that jerkit smiley. Yeesh.
