There isn't one that I know of. Rat Cutlery changed their name to ESEE a few years back. The knives are the same.
 
RAT3 was made by Ontario knives, there's a whole story behind the fall-out between ESEE (RAT at the time) and Ontario/Queen knives. In short, ESEE 3 is the much later and supposedly improved version manufactured by Rowen.
 
Yes, Rowen produces better quality than Ontario. As I recall, Ontario's failure to meet Jeff's expectations for quality was the source of their fallout.
