Question

No. With use and a lot of cycling though it will become that way when you keep the lock pressure off the blade. Like a good pair of shoes needs to be worn in.

The large Insingo I have will slightly move towards the closed position when the lock bar is disengaged. Not even close to what I would consider dropping free though. To me dropping free is what my Benchmade 940 does or any of the axis lock Benchmade knives I own for that matter.

Some but not most of them. I polish the washers on my users to get them to smooth out and drop freely.

Almost all of my safe queens don't drop freely but they are smooth like riding on a buttered glass surface...

My Inkosi does fall free out of the box.... I expect small 21's will after they wear in a little.

A Large 21 Tanto I used for 5 months or so would drop free, after the first few months. My current Large 21 Damascus does not drop free, but is the definition of smooth. I've used the Damascus for about 5 or 6 months daily.

Mine was free dropping out of the box and still is, but I assume you mean free dropping after the blade no longer contacts the lock bar ball.

No. They are more hudraulic feeling than free flipping. It's one of the things I love about the sebenzas. It's called Tight Tolerances.

My 25 does just barely but none of the others have. The best action has been in my large 21s with Damascus, none have felt smoother.

By dropping freely, I meant with the CRK "hydraulic feel" drop... lol.
