I noticed a Spyderco Millie M390 CF, that was listed on the sales forum yesterday:

This Millie, has, "002V" stamped on the presentation side of the blade.

I too, own a fairly rare Spyderco, which has, "027V" stamped in the same location of the blade. The blade steel on my knife, is actually VG-10. Can somebody here, please explain what these stamps are referencing?

Thank you!

Exactly. Here's a shot of all 16 versions of the Kopa, all marked with Collectors Club member #043. First one issued was the Cocobolo, so it is marked 043, the rest all carry 043V as they were considered variants of the Kopa.

The three digit number is the member's number; the "V" indicates a variation of the base model.
