When you put someone on your ignore list does that stop them from posting on any threads I have started ?

There's a app you can down load or a settings change on your device that makes it like a member eraser, you won't see anything from them but they can still post in any thread that's not closed or that their membership level gives them access to. I don't recall what it's called as I have no one on ignore. Maybe someone else can chime in with what the other option is.
