Anyone here remember when Pacific Cutlery made fixed blade knives? If so, does anyone own or remember the "Tanto by Kuzan Oda"??

Two out of how many members? Reason I asked, saw a PC Tanto for sale yesterday. Fer de Lance was one of my favorites. Sold many of them. How about the "Dragon Claw"? That one I have never seen. Maybe someday BM will see the light and add a fixed blade fighter to the line. Collaboration with Joseph Cordova might be a good idea.

Navajo: You gotta realize that not everyone here was buying PC knives when they were still around. Heck, there's some here that weren't around all together when PC was still in existence. ;)

And the "Dragon Claw" was a bronze casting of a dagger Jody Samson created for the movie "Conan: The Barbarian". It was more a conversation peice than a real knife. Retailed for around $99 when introduced.

Knew what it was, just never seen one. Keep forgetting that I am probably older most people here. Hence, CRS. No insults intended to anyone. And as should be evident by my "bakisong" post, I don't have a keyboard that can spell either.

Tony, do you have any of the "Sampson" series knives? Another group I missed. Look good in the sales stuff I still have from PC.

I had the full size version of the Dragon Claw, but sold it to an big Conan friend of mine. I do however, still have the miniature necklace version that was also sold. I'll see if I can find it to take a pic for you. It looks the same, just different size.

The only Samson series knife I had was the Weehawk Boot with the Micarta handles. That was sold when I got a real Weehawk Custom from Jody to replace it. The steel wasn't bad (forgot which, I think it was 440c) and felt very balanced. Excellent feel in the foil and saber grip.

You know, PC didn't have a big national following at the time. They certainly didn't have a big national sales force. So, as the name Pacific Cutlery sort of implies, a lot of that stuff is mostly out here on the left coast. You can find any of these pretty regularly at most of the major west coast shows.

Thanks, Tony. I would like to see it and memory was just jogged, I remember the necklace. Never seen an "Axecaliber" either.

Cuck, thanks for the infromation. I try to stay away from the left coast.

Tony, still looking for that PC 3 inch. Send a pic as soon as I find it. Will try to show the tang stamp.

Right now there's a bunch of older PC folders and fixed blades on Ebay, kinda pricy though.
No Kuzan tanto, though..
