The dealer down the streets from me is selling what I think is the stretch or the spur...one of those. Anyway, they're selling it for $140. My question is whats special about this knife, and is the price worth it?

This shot may give you a better idea of the relatiive sizes, Stretch is at top Spur is second from bottom.

At the price you quoted, if you're in the US, I'd guess it's a Stretch, as the MSRP on them is $165 while the Spur is just under $100.
NGK prices on both are about $100 and $63 respectively. Other internet dealers would probably have them at prices close to those. Stretch is a great knife, has become my darn near exclusive EDC, but not sure if I'd ever pay $140 for one .

I have seen the Stretch on Ebay for Buy it Now of 86.99 and the Spur for 59.99.
This seems to be about the best prices on both.If you are in the US 140.00 would be on the high side.
