Hey guys,

I have a BG FBM with micarta slabs. This is the only Fusion-handled blade I have. Am curious how these grips compare to the old school standard and mag Fusion handles. Which are they comparable to? Are they somewhere in between?

Also, is the overall size and length of the BG FBM handle the same as traditional Fusion scales? For example, someone recently noted that the WTF handles are slightly smaller than usual and I'm curious if this is also true for the BG FBM or if they're the regular size.

I had BG FBM and sold it. I think the handle was almost the same as on my CG FBM. I did not mention any significant difference.
But my NMFBM has smooth G 10 slabs which are clearly thicker. The handle of NMFBM is my favorite.

Thanks G gorshi

I've looked at some old threads but I'm still a bit confused. I guess from the pics I found that the BG FBM scales are closer to magnum thickness, but still haven't found definitive info. I'll probably hand shape the scales on mine if I decide to make it a user.

I’ve found some pics and you are right I think. The handle on BG FBM is little wider than on CG FBM.
I’m fan of fusion handles and they all work for me. It’s joy to use them.

Nice pics!

Yeah, spine shots are surprisingly hard to come by, but after more digging I found what I wanted to see. The old standard slabs are much flatter and less contoured than I would have thought, pretty interesting.

I may have to order a BGFBM now :eek::eek: It just looks awesome in that combo !!!

Thanks for sharing and great pics

Yeah, +1 on that BG FBM combo. Never really took to the green canvas micarta before, but it looks excellent with the green coating.
