I've seen this coating used on a few knives (Chris Reeve is the first that comes to mind) and I don't know much about it.
How protective is it? Is there any chance of rust happening underneath (I've heard this can happen with DLC)?
How long does it last? Can it wear off, chip, etc. (like powder coating)?
Can it be removed?
