Had this posted over in the Swissbianco sub forum and its getting no traction.

I found a NIB victorinox electrician in a pawn shop yesterday and doing some searching online it appears to be an older one I think? but cannot seem to nail down an approximate age.

It is silver alox with silver cross and brass liner and the bottle opener? Has machine marks and sharp edges.

The box is silver and has the paper with info about the knife and a questionnaire and the tray is white plastic.

Can anyone tell me when this one was made and if its collectible? Just curious of the age and if its collectible ill probably pass it on to someone that collects them and get a farmer. If not I'm going to drop it in my pocket and carry it.

Quick cell phone pics but I can provide more/better ones if needed

Old Cross scales were pre '99....

If unused with the box, collectors and avid Electrician lovers might be interested...personally, since it's new in the box, I would put it back or sell it and buy a user or a new silver Farmer to carry if that's you aim. It's not so valuable that some folks wouldn't just go ahead and use it but it is a discontinued SAK in the box so......

What do you mean by "machine marks" and "sharp edges"?

I watched a YouTube video where the guy pointed out that one of his SAK's had machine/grind marks and the edges were not rounded off and that's exactly how mine is.

Thanks SAK guy. Ill probably just hold off on carrying it and get a farmer which is the model I really want anyhow.

Thanks again

since that one is in such baby nice shape, I think you will find someone somewhere who will want to collect it. good score, at the very least you should be able to finance the farmer off of it.
