Questions about paid membership

My questions are regarding the information required to pay for a membership with a credit card using Authorize.net.

The personal information requested to pay (name, address, CC#, etc), does Bladeforums keep that information on file? Or is it an entirely private transaction between the member and Authorize.net, completely separate from Bladeforums?

I'm not familiar with Authorize.net and before I give personal information, and credit card information, I like to know what will become of that information and who has access to it.

Authorize is one of the largest payment gateways out there. We don't see any of the sensitive information at all - the transaction is done entirely on their side using their virtual terminal; we just get passed a token that the transaction was approved and valid.

I personally will have access to it in order to issue refunds or see disputes as part of my merchant agreement, but again the information is stored with them. When I access it, however, the card number is blocked from my view except for the last 4 (IIRC) If you prefer I have zero access, you can use paypal or a one-time number via your bank if they offer that service.
