Was wondering if anybody could give me a little info on the SCHRADE TOOL , time frame of when it was made etc. I went to the local K-MART and saw these hanging on a clearance rack and they appeared to be original SCHRADE so I bought 3 of them for 3 dollars each. I opened one up and the paper says part# 7180649 then ST1 which I assume is the model # , it also says 1997 IMPERIAL SCHRADE CORP. on the paperwork , thanks for any info anyone might have.

i don't know dates of production, but 2002 MRSP was $79.95 with nylon or leather sheath. i like this tool, it has replaced my Leatherman Wave.
if yours really are the same USA made pre 2004 Schrade, you got the deal of the century. below are pics of mine if you wish to compare. mine has Schrade U.S.A. on both sides of the plier jaws. roland

Thanks for the reply and pics Roland. Mine are exactly like the one you have pictured the only difference being I have the black nylon sheaths for all of them. They were marked on clearance for 15 dollars each but when I went and checked out the cashier rang them up 3 dollars each, wish I could find more deals like that. Thanks again

you're welcome. you'll find it a great tool. some of implements require opening others first to access, but the pliers are very good and i find them surprisingly useful in so many jobs around my property.
i paid $30 (ebay) for mine, and the leather sheath alone is worth that. but the nylon sheaths work just as well and you got 3 for a crazy price. amazing ! roland
