I have a Small Regular Sebenza with the Web-Sight CGG design and the date code on the inside if both Ti handle slabs is B05 (second quarter 2005) but the birthcard says the knife was made in June of 2006. Would it be possible that ti slabs from a year prior were used or is the birthcard possibly not for this knife (all other descriptions match) Second question, is there any way to know how many of the small Regulars were produced with Web-Sight CGG? Wondering how rare it is?

Anything is possible, but I think you are fine. The stamp on the slabs is when the slabs were made. The slabs are made in batches and don't necessarily reflect the day the knife was completed.

I also think you are fine. I don't know this as fact, but they may separate out the scales they are going to use for graphic from the others, which could result in the pile lasting much longer since they use less of them.

and if for some reason they missed using some previously made scales form an earlier batch, they certainly would use them when found (They don't go bad :).

The only real problem is when you have scales made after the birthdate-then something is wrong.

Thanks for the info. Anyone know how limited this graphic in the small regular was?

What day in June? If its June 1st, they are of no value whatsoever and in fact may be very dangerous to possess - in which case I would volunteer my safe disposal service at no charge. ;)

Almost all of my CRKs have dates on the scales that doesn't match the birthday

They're not rare, but not real common either. One went through the Exchange recently, took a while and some price drops to sell.

What would be the value on a like knew one with original box, card, cloth, pouch, and lanyard?

Does anyone remember Mikepapa1.....Zaan man Dave....long winded threads. I bought a large WS from him.

Dave found out after he bought it on the bay that it made a trip to the spa. I couldn't bring my self to use/carry it.

I traded it for another knife of the same value. Stupid move on my part! I don't even carry the knife I traded for.
