Hi ppl, I'm new to the forum, but I am already finding out what an awesome place this is!
I have a newbie question about the specials that Yangdu posts every so often.
I have read the "new payment method" stickies and that's clear to me, I'd just like to confrim if it is a "first-come-first-served" kind of thing?
And is it necessary to post "e-mail sent" to let everyone know or is that just enthusiasm
?
And what are the specials about that makes it different from those on the HI site? I find it difficult and I'm still learning to recognise the different style Khukuris, so my best guess is they are special or unique items available to HI Forum-ites only.
I haven't found anything about this so apologies in advance if I have missed this information somewhere. Thanks everyone!
  Exrta question - is there more information people know of about the origins and features of different styles of Khukuris? I've browsed many sites like HI and found great information, but less specific to my question. I couldn't access John Powell's link at HI for some reason.
For e.g "Sirupate is taken from the Siru leaf" is a little too little history for me heheheh
