Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding an eBay seller called Volley Knives.

They seem to have an unusually large number of Busse Custom knives, including some very rare variants and high-end customs.

I’m wondering about a few things and hoped the Busse community here might know:
  1. Is Volley Knives an official or semi-official Busse retailer?
They list a lot of knives that look like they came directly from custom drops or private collections.
  2. Why are their Busse knives so unique or different?
Many of their pieces don’t look like common production models, so I’m curious whether these come from private collectors, special runs, or direct connections.
  3. Is it possible to buy from them outside of eBay?
Since eBay takes around 20% in fees, I’m wondering if there’s a way to deal directly with them (email, Instagram, website, etc.) for a better price.
If anyone here has purchased from them or knows more about their background, I would really appreciate your insight.

Thanks in advance!

No rules broken. Liu Kang was a flipper who bought a lot of these knives and sold them at ridiculous prices. He always shot photos on a red background.

There are no “official retailers” of Busse knives that I know of besides Busse Combat. Any other source is just a reseller.

If you want a fancied up Busse like those just keep an eye on their rolling thunder knives on their website.

AntDog is correct. You’d be wise to steer clear of Liu Kang. He is NOT an official seller whatsoever! Just search his name here on the forums for further information. Make some popcorn and prepare for a long sit/read.

If it is on eBay, then "buyer beware" applies.

And a discussion about how to get around eBay fees is not an appropriate discussion to hold on BF. So don't go there.
