Could someone tel me what the M9 CG and the M9 LE Sold for?

Also how well does this knife cut, does it hold and edge? and does it get razor sharp?

Also I have never owned a SW knife, just looking into the M9 because well I really want one.

Thanks

Sure Rick. The M9 CGs were 220 w/ micarta and 250 w/ g-10. The M9 LE was 250, and the new M9s w/ the hand shaped g-10 and satin finish were going for 300. The knife is spectacular man! Its a large bowie (9'' cutting edge), and SR-101 is known for its ability to take a seriously sharp edge and retain that edge. I find that SR-101 doesn't stay as sharp as long as INFI when chopping, but for all other cutting, slicing, or lighter chopping chores...you can't tell the difference. If you can get one close to cost Rick, grab one; you won't regret it bro. I hope this helps and good luck with your M9 search!

I paid $267 for mine today at Easton. This thing rocks! It bights deeeeep on the chop, but its still manageable as a cutter.

I can't say too much about the performance since i only played with it for a little while today before it got dark.

I'll try to get some good shots of mine soon. See my Easton score thread for what pics i have.

EDIT: it was $248, i got my tags from the show mixed up. :D

I paid $250 for my M9CG in October. Got it off one of the exchanges. It is one awesome blade; I love it! I hope they release an M7.5; it would fit nicely between the M6 and M9. Here's a couple of shots.

I really like the bottom one, really, really like it!!!!! The one with the Black and Tan G10, is that correct?

The M9 takes a wicked sharp edge, and holds it well.
It's a fast, sweet blade that is nimble and light in the hand...
and it has a hell of a bite.
These branches are standing dead-wood,been 2-3 years dry and seasoned:
I went through them with my M9 quicker than my hatchet.
About 6" thick, and I went through it in about 4 chops, then stood the 14"-16" cut piece on end and split it without barely any effort
I went on to chop a bunch more branches after this,
from 6" thick to 8",and the edge still shaved hair off my forearm.

LostViking,

That black/orange M9 is just beyond awesome!!

IronWolf,

Your pics are amazing.

I've got to get my hands on a combat grade M9, or two, so the abuse can begin....:D

Ironwolf,
Nice pics, I like to see rats doing what they do best! Some great looking knives. Looks like a blade that makes timber shudder!
