Questions About The Ti Tyrade

I'm getting a nib ti Tyrade tomorrow. Does anyone remember what the street price was

on them when they were still available? How many of the ti version were made?

When did they stop making the Tyrade?

Sorry for all the questions but I wasn't into Kershaws when the Tyrade was made. :(
 
Got mine a couple years ago when they were being discontinued for about $150 or so. MSRP was at least $250 from what I remember.
 
I got my ti Tyrade today.....what a Fantastic knife. The only thing I don't like about the knife is that big ugly thing on the back of the knife that holds the knife on the
outside of the pocket.

I wish I could get one of the clips that Tim uses on some of his custom JYD II that someone posted a pic of on the big ugly and nice small pocket clips thread.

You could always check with Kershaw customer service and have them send you a spare pocket clip that you can trim to size.:D

I called Kershaw today...they don't have clips for the Tyrade.
 
You could get a custom clip made for probably $30 or so?

I acquired two Ti Tyrade blems a couple years back and put quite simply:


They're the BOMB!

It goes toe and toe against others knives costing a good bit more.
 
i used my Ti pretty extensively until i picked up a zt folder to replace it, so mine is kind of retired...for all the carry its been through it has held up really well; the Ti doesn't show any abrasive wear...
 
It's one of my favorites. I got mine right in the middle of production, for about $190 off of the bay. Glad to pay the price, then, and glad I have the knife now!

If I remember correctly, I think the Kershaw Storm II has the same clip. At least the same shape, not sure on the size.
