Hello all,

I have some questions about Victorinox swiss army style knives. I have aquired three over the years and am looking for any and all info about them.

The first was given to me by my father years ago when I was in the Boy Scouts. It has silver colored handles with straight line grooves. On the longer blade it is stamped :
Victorinox
Switzerland
Stainless
Rostfrei

and on the back :
Officer
Suisse

It has a long and short blade. Two can opener things.

The second was given to me as a gift when I was a teenager by my grandfather. It is the usual red in color. On the longer blade it is stamped :
Wenger
Delemont
Switzerland
Stainless

and on the back:
a large w
Wenger

It has a long and short blade, the two can opener things. A pair of pliers and on the opposite side a Philips screwdriver. Also a short length of chain.

Lastly is the one I got in trade. It is red in color. On the longer blade it is stamped :

Victorinox
Swiss made
Stainless

and on the back :
Officer
Suisse.

It has a long and short blade. The two can opener things. A toothpick and tweezers. The guy I got it from said it is a Recruit.

I guess I'm just looking for General Information.

Thanks.

The first sounds like a Victorinox Soldier model, or a Pioneer if it has the key ring.

If it has 2 blades, instead of a large blade and an awl, it may be a Cadet II

Like this?

That sounds like a Journeyman.

Most likely is a Recruit.

Thanks Bear Claw! Those are the exact ones!

Was not sure if this was the correct place to post. Sorry to the Mods.
