Hey guys, I'm looking to write up some more articles for my website. The "what is stabilized wood" and some if the figure selection ones have been popular.

I was wondering if there were other questions about wood, focused on exotic if possible you had. Some ideas I've had

How diffrent are members of the ebony/ rosewood family?

How diffrent are ebony and rosewood?

What is the oil inside wood even doing there?

How can I get better glue joints with oily wood?

Help my wood is cracking!

Why is my exotic wood turning darker?

Any other questions would he appreciated!

I'd like something on how tropical woods can be harvested in a sustainable way.

Yeah, sustainability is a great topic.

1. Allergy is another one.

2. You have also written on this previously, but, does my wood need stabilizing? Eg rosewoods that do not benefit from stabilizing.

3. Wood hardness (units, comparison between species with graspable comparisons with non wood objects/materials, comparison stabilized/non stabilized)

4. Wood working tools (Eg what works for normal species doesn't necessarily work for rosewoods)

But how do I know if I got Genuine Lignum Vitae or the Argentine variety?

And if it suddenly Cracks all over is it firewood? :/

How wood warps would be beneficial. Especially with differences from one climate to another. I recently had ironwood warp on very nice knife that I was given .

Effects of different finishes on appearance (grain,color, darkening, and chatoence) and aging. Example I did an experiment with Spar,Tried and true, pure Tung oil and nothing on ironwood.
