I've seen Lunde's and I'd like to see more (especially any that have been beat on and used).

also, for those who have handled them - how do they feel? seems like the ideal blade for me.

how rare are these, like - moderately common, you see a used one once a year, never gonna find one, what can I expect?

thanks.

I was told that only 10 or 15 were made. There were NMOASHes and FNMOASHes made, and I have seen the 10 or 15 figures for both.

ouch. was afraid of that.

what's an FNOMASH?

I see yours has the custom shop logo - did you order it direct, or was it a gaanza item at some point and if so do you mind sharing which one what the asking price then was?

thanks.

I curious as well. The one I had was around 1,250$. I had an offer for 1,600$ from a guy on ebay, but ended up keeping it at auction price, and it ended up going for around 1,250$. this was a while back...

I think I would have liked the design a lot better if I could have gotten it non-nucleared. taking the weight from the spine brings the balance back to the handles, so you end up with a massively thick knife that feels like a knife, not like a chopper.

obviously it was not designed to excell specifically at wood working, but I though I'd get one just to find out :).... I think I did so because it was the thickest version available at the time...

Mine was a Ganza item, and I bought it in the Exchange. The F stands for Flying, which translates to serrations along the blade edge proper. The N stands for Nuclear, and refers to serrations on the top edge of the blade.

Here's a photo of the FNMOASH

Lunde, is that 10 or 15 combined production or for each?

your right... ugh. my brain. it's stopped working :grumpy:

flying style serrations... man i'm more out of it from work then I thought.

FNMOASH, two NMOASHs and standard MOASH. One of the best knives ever made by Busse IMHO.

Don't care much for the flying or nuclear style, but the standard MOASH is a sight to behold!

That's a nice collection! Must weight about 50 lbs!

I've got a couple (sans teeth) and they are hefty, for sure! Swinging one is like wielding a small ax. They do chop nicely though!
