I read some where that you may have had a hand or say in the creating of s30v. Along with many others. I was wondering if this was true. And if so how come almost everywhere else says it was Chris Reeves alone. The article I read says you Phil Wilson Paul Bos and a few others had a hand in the makings. Just curious.

Here is the history of the development of S30V as told by the Crucible metallurgist who lead the development project.
According to him, knife maker input was provided primarily by Chris Reeve, but he says that many other knife makers were queried during the development process.

I've always been under the impression that S30V was a product in the makes long before Reeve tweaked the ingredients resulting in S35vn years later.
Good information and history. Thank for sharing.
