Is the pivot on the Yojimbo a new innovation; was the Yojimbo set for a particular tension at the factory; and will the user be able to adjust the pivot tension? Enough questions...the Yojimbo was executed perfectly. The fit and finish is amazing. We all complain and pester about delivery times; however, now that I have a Yojimbo, it seems as though the wait was only a very short while. Thank you for putting out an amazing knife. Thanks to Mike Janich to an outstanding design.

Can you elaborate on the pivot? Pics maybe?

Are there any online shops that are currently stocking the Yojimbo or are you a collector?

Hi Wpc. Thanx for the kind words. Mike created a very refined design and the Golden boys did a great knifemaking job. it did take longer than hoped but that's simply because we weren't satisfied with resutls and had to keep making changes and refinements. Something we'll still do.

Since the knives are all assembled and adjusted during assembly, I would have to say yes, it is adjusted at the facory for the tension we feel works the best.

The pivot is adjustable.
