Questions for the Shirogorov experts

Depends on if someone wants it bad enough. Prices on used Shiro's seem to be coming down some lately.
If it's unused in the box with all the trimmings you should be able to start at the price listed on the site and be willing to negotiate. (I'm not an expert. I did buy 3 from the sales page though. Also always looking for another.)

Right now, you can buy one for $695.00 brand new with Elmax.
If someone wants to sell it fast, $525.00, if they’re not in a hurry, $650.00

No price difference between the older Elmax and newer CTS-40CP versions?

Thanks

I've never seen the F3 in 40CP. The ones currently listed as new for sale by Recon1 and Knife Center are Elmax and one in S30V (which may be an old model?). I see that BladeHQ offering is $975. That's more than a new F3R with m390 and carbon fiber scales instead of G-10.

Maybe it’s an older version, I really know nothing about shiros. I took it in on trade, and it seems like I lost out big on that deal unfortunately, but that’s on me for taking someone’s word about trade value and not thoroughly researching it. Thanks a lot for all the info.

They made knives in 440C, Cronidur30, and 40CP in the earlier years. Don't know when the production knives changed to Elmax and M390. They did have production knives in Vanax 37 for a while. They have stopped offering it in production knives. strongbear0 strongbear0 , based on the price of that one, I'd guess it was an earlier Shirogorov. They were stupidly high when there were few and far between to be had. The prices are better than then, but still high. Really don't know if there's been any changes to the F3 over the years. The F3R is the most recent generation with some changes.

KnifeCenter has some Shirogorov's, go look at them and you'll see current prices.
