Hi All,
We all know the knife biz can be competitive since there are so many other great designs by great makers. One of my all time favs is Kershaw/ZT. I am thinking of picking up a ZT0200 and we all know it is a beast ( I have one already). There is another beastly knife out there that also has it's proceeds sent to some of the GI's. Anyways, I had a few questions about the ZT0200 and future designs.

So, what is the approximate strength of the liners in the ZT0200?

Would it be possible to make a larger, beefier, Skyline? Or, well, shoot I love all of the ZT knives but would it be possible for you guys to consider making a thinner, yet still very overbuilt 4" (or more) non-re-curve blade? I love Ken Onion designs, but I love straight blades better.

Sorry if I sound like I am asking a lot, but, since I have owned a few Kershaws and a couple ZTs and also had experience with KAI customer service, I don't want to deal with any other company cause y'all are too damn nice and good at what you do!

Just wanted to bump this to see if I could have my questions answered...

Thanks to anyone in the know.

OH, and Thomas, if you read this, your CS is great!

Why? I used to buy Cold Steel knives. USED TO, until one of their blades broke, and after I contacted their customer service, I was NEVER contacted. Same for Gerber. Same for a LOT of other knife companies.

However, AFTER using an Outcast in -40 and having the handle crack because of the extreme cold, I contacted them, but to see if they knew someone who could replace the handle. They offered to replace the knife even though there was no fault to them. So, Thomas has a good system going. Happy customers will keep coming back. As far as that is concerned, it is directly related to the questions and comments in my original post.

I love Kershaw/ ZT Knives. Under normal conditions none of them broke. Under many rough and extreme conditions (even possible abuse), they didn't break. IF you don't like Kershaw, what are you doing in this forum?

Anyway, some please answer my questions and others, please stop insulting good products and halfway hijacking other threads that may be useful to someone else in the future.
