Questions for ZT 0750 Talon owners (can you de-assist the zt 0750?)

Like the title says, I am curious to know whether or not it is possible to de-assist the zt 0750 and turn it into a manual knife. I prefer manual knives to assisted opening knives and wanted to know if I could take the spring out and if the 0750 has a detent ball. I am thinking about picking one up but only if I can turn it into a manual knife. Thanks!

Apparently there's no detent hole in the blade on that model: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1088752-Zero-Tolerance-0750-80. You'd have to drill your own. :(

edit: As far as there being a detent ball in the lock bar itself, this is standard practice, even on knives without a matching blade hole, as it keeps the lock bar from rubbing on the blade during opening and closing. Only the ball rubs against the blade, keeping friction to a minimum. You'd just have to figure out where the blade's tang stops in relation to the ball and make a hole in the blade to match.
