Questions from Europe

Hi everybody

I've been reading so many great posts and reviews of Swamp Rat/Busse products and I've decided that I HAD to get one of these or maybe one of each... and why just one of each? lol
Though I have few questions unanswered...

- Like Busse, do you always redirect european customers to the deutch retailer www.swamprat.de, except for UK?
(i'm afraid i know the answer to this one... )

- Is there any difference in the making of the knives between US and EU?
even if I don't speak german, I think I read the guarantee was "only" 25 years... hence my question...

one last thing: it will be good if the EU website was available in english as well, because i'm not speaking german and don't plan to in a near futur...

Welcome to the Swamp Rat Forum, glad you stopped by.

Yes, we do redirect our European customers (except the UK) to our European distributor at www.swamprat.de

The knives are all made identically, and in the same factory here in Ohio. Dirk(the European distributoer) speaks english so if you email or call him he should be able to answer any questions you might have for him.

Of course regarding the knives you can ask your questions here, but I can't help with delivery times or knives in stock questions

Yep! I do speak english, though there might be an accent.

There are laws that force us to limit the guarantee, that´s why we "only" give 25 years officially. Of course after that time period those laws may have changed, if not we will find a solution if needed.

You are right, we need to have an english section on our websites. But that will be all we can do. No danish, french, spanish, etc.
Maybe with the next update...
