The 51OT was called the "Big Timer" and is on the 1978-1981 price-lists. The flyer is dated 1977 though so it was likely first offered in 1977. http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/FLYERS/SC-1973-1979/pages/SC-77-10.htm

The "ILA" 34OT knife commemorates the 20th Anniversary of the National Rifle Association's "Institute for Legislative Action". It was founded in 1975 making the knife a 1995 offering. The box places the knife in this time frame as well. http://www.nraila.org/About/

The 44OT was called the "Workmate" and was offered from 1990-1993. Additionally a special run of 4000 of these knives were made in 2001. These had a blade etch and the original ones didn't. http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/schrade_knives/price_list/old_timer.php I second this list made by Orvet (Dale). It's very handy!

Three great knives! Hope this helps :)

The Craftsman is definitely Schrade made. It's Schrade's 15OT pattern. Very nice collection of knives you have there! And ebay is probably your best option for current value.

Thank You
Yes all knives are awsome, thanks for the info will be hitting the bay for additional value points.

Nice 165OT nutoknives! As you might have guessed, it is a fairly early one, the 11,687th one made, likely circa 1969-70 IIRC. It sports the second design sheath with handle keeper strap but short belt hanger. Earlier sheaths had a choil/guard retainer strap and later ones had a longer belt hanger. The early sheaths in excellent condition, as one might guess, are more uncommon than the knives. Schrade made the 165 pattern for Sears as well as the 15 pattern, sometimes with minor embellishments over regular production pattern, sometimes not and occasionally greatly embelished. The Sears 15OT is also a fairly early one judging by it's sheath design, quite possibly contemporary with the 165OT. Earliest sheaths for those used faux reconstituted leather impressed with a waffle texture, choil retainer strap and an aluminum and fiberboard sheath insert to keep the blade from cutting the laces. They shortly went to the heavier smooth leather sheaths, used the handle retainer strap, then rivets to protect the laces, and eventually no laces but a third gusset layer to protect the stitching.

Thank You Codger_64
All info does help and quite interesting, The Schrades are all very impressive feel, looks, condition for thier age but I took path of what I thought was going to be easy with the Kabar collection without realizing how many different models there was just about done with them and do not have the energy or the funds to take on the schrade collection and it kills me to have the knives just sitting in boxes as my cousin would have loved to see his knives showed. The knives have started there path to new collectors on that evil-bay with hopes they can add to or as I am doing help finish someone's collection. Thanks Again as all BF members have been more than helpfull with knowledge and assistance with alot of my inquiries, and helping me pass the many knives onto other collectors. KEEP EM SHARP

Going through couple more boxes found a few more schrades thought everyone might want to see and as always any and all info greatly appreciated Thanks in advance hope you enjoy,
