Been looking around at some XM-24 and i found on that was up for sale that had a bead blasted blade with a stamp of the blade steal (S35VN). I love the bead blasted and am looking into getting one, but im wondering if its considered custom. Could anyone tell me the history on these? Are these older models that had bead blasted as the standard finish?

Too many variables to give a specific answer to the age. There are only two runs of 24s, the 1st run of a very small total number, and the more recent production run. Now, shows and gathering add more variables and confusion to give you an exact answer.

As for price, not going to go too deep, but I will say if it's a custom then a custom price applies. If the knife for sale is a custom the seller will say so, or at leat should.

It is highly probable that a or a few blasted bladed production 24s have been sold at shows and gatherings.

Just a bit curious why your first post reads as if you are seeking information that would be used to purchase this knife, but.......

....you post it for sale shortly after we assist you with your question?...

Perhaps I can get a response to my question if I posted it in the exchange.

Nope, the possible deception was here, so here I ask for clarity? Maybe I misread, let me know.
